Michi Grassi, one of the greatest contemporary artists in Italy, the most famous master painter in Italy and internationally in the equestrian field, recently represented Italy in an international prestigious context during the Global Champions Arabians Tour.

The competition, dedicated to the Arabian horses, attracted guests of world fame, all came to admire the extraordinary works of art and races of the most beautiful and talented horses on the planet.

 

“Rhan Al Shahania”: The Masterpiece of Michi Grassi

Grassi presented his masterpiece entitled “Rhan Al Shahania”, an oil on canvas of 140×100 cm depicting the legendary champion Arab horse, bred by Al Shahania Stud, famous stable in Qatar belonging to Sheikh Mohamed bin Khalifa Al Thani. The painting captured the essence of this noble animal, celebrated for its elegance and prestige. The artistic sensitivity of Michi Grassi has joined the passion for the equestrian world, consecrating him as the best painter of horses in the first Italian stage of the tour. The painting has seriously caught the attention of the royal family of Qatar Al Thani.

The event, carefully organized by great Chief of Global Champions Arabians tour Faleh Al-Nasr, was attended by such distinguished personalities as Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Jan Tops, leader of the Global Championship Tour, and Qatar’s Ambassador in Rome, His Excellency Khalid Yousuf Al Sada. The presence of these important names made the event even more special, enriched by shows and magnificent horses.
